Electrode and Microstructure Dependence of Oxygen Diffusion in Ferroelectric Hafnium Zirconium Oxide Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Significant nanoscale oxygen diffusion coefficient variations are measured in ferroelectric hafnium zirconium oxide films with grain boundaries and electrode interfaces exhibiting values 104 times larger than the grain cores. Overall coefficients are 10X larger for films prepared with metal nitride electrodes compared to refractory metals. New insights

Flow analysis and flow-induced vibration evaluation for low-pressure feedwater heater of a nuclear power plant

International Journal of Pressure Vessels and Piping, 2008
This paper performs a three-dimensional flow analysis and flow-induced vibration evaluation of a tube bundle for the low-pressure feedwater heater of a nuclear power plant. Using a commercial computational fluid dynamics software, CFX-4, a detailed shell side flow analysis model is first developed and the near-field cross flow around different ...

Performance Study of Low-Pressure Vertical Feedwater Heater with SS304 as the Tube Material

2021
Most of the power generated comes from the steam power plant based on modified Rankine cycle. Researchers always attempt to increase the thermal efficiency of the steam power cycle. Due to increasing competition, it has become necessary for electric utilities to operate their facilities in the most cost-effective way possible. Even a slight increase in
