IMMUNOGENICITY OF LOW-DOSE INTRAMUSCULAR AND INTRADERMAL VACCINATION WITH RECOMBINANT HEPATITIS B VACCINE

open access: yesRevista do Instituto de Medicina Tropical de São Paulo, 1997
The study is a randomized trial using recombinant DNA vaccine to determine whether an intramuscular 10 µg dose or intradermal 2 µg induces satisfactory anti-HBs levels compared to the standard dose of intramuscular 20 µg.

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Diferentefects of pulsed X-rays in MOLT-4 cel line and human peripheral blod lymphocytes

open access: yesСибирский онкологический журнал, 2016
Effects of ionizing radiation registered in cells after low dose irradiation are still poorly understood. Thus, the aim of this study was to analyze effects of pulsed X-rays on level of radiation-induced DNA double-strand breaks and their repair kinetics

Fentanyl with low dose bupivacaine (isobaric and hyperbaric) and levobupivacaine for combined spinal-epidural technique in cesarean section

open access: yesMedicine Science, 2018
To compare the hemodynamic and motor block effects of fentanyl combined with low doses of isobaric and hyperbaric bupivacaine and isobaric levobupivacaine in Caesarean operations with Combined Spinal-Epidural Anesthesia (CSEA) method.

Decoding the dynamic extracellular matrix in cancer—3D models and bioscaffolds rewire the rules of tumor progression

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cancer progression is regulated by the dynamic matrix code of the tumor microenvironment, which influences cellular behavior and disease development. Importantly, matrix remodeling in three‐dimensional cancer models more accurately reflects in vivo conditions compared to conventional two‐dimensional systems.

INDIVIDUAL APPROACH TO ULTRA LOSE DOSE REGIME OF MENOPAUSAL HORMONAL THERAPY IN PATIENTS AGED OVER 60

open access: yesМедицинский совет, 2016
The menopausal hormonal therapy is represented today by ultra low doses in the form of drug Angeliq® Micro, which allows continuing MHT for patients older than 60-65  and choosing an individual MHT type.

Effect of low doses and high homeopathic potencies in normal and cancerous human lymphocytes: an in vitro isopathic study

open access: yes, 2006
OBJECTIVES: Biologic effects of high homeopathic potencies can be studied in cell cultures using cell lines or primary cells. We hypothesized that primary cells would be more apt to respond to high potencies than cell lines, especially cancer cell lines.

Damage Assessment in Low Doses $\text{}^{30}Si^{+}$-Implanted GaAs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Ion implantation is a widely used technique in device technology, and becoming even more important as the size of devices decreases. The studies of damage and introduced defects have been extensive and, although the overall development and annealing of ...

Identification of a Shiga toxin A‐derived peptide internalized into Gb3 receptor‐bearing cells via interaction with the Shiga toxin B subunit

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The process of internalization of the Shiga toxin A subunit via formation of a complex with the Shiga toxin B subunit, which specifically binds to the Gb3 receptor. The peptide is designed to act as a carrier of drugs into cancer cells. Here, we explored the potential of peptides derived from the catalytic A subunit of Shiga toxin (STxA) to be drug ...
