Application of Low-Frequency Processing Method Based on VMD Algorithm in Blasting Signal Processing
In the field of blasting vibration signal analysis, accurate removal of low-frequency noise in the signal has important practical significance. In view of the shortcomings of the existing methods, such as cumbersome calculation and limited scope of ...

Measuring low-frequency noise indoors [PDF]
At low frequencies, the sound pressure level may vary 20-30 dB in a room due to standing waves. For assessment of annoyance, mainly areas with the highest occurring levels are relevant, since persons present in such areas are not helped by the existence of lower levels in other areas.

Decoherence in qubits due to low-frequency noise
The efficiency of the future devices for quantum information processing is limited mostly by the finite decoherence rates of the qubits. Recently a substantial progress was achieved in enhancing the time, which a solid-state qubit demonstrates a coherent

Noise and Equivalent Circuit of Double Injection [PDF]
Measurements of the high‐frequency noise of a silicon double‐injection diode result in 〈i^2〉 = α⋅4kT(1/r)Δf with α=1.04 and in agreement with the literature. A new interpretation demands Nyquist noise with α≡1 in these devices at high frequencies.

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Gain Dependence of the Noise in the Single Electron Transistor
An extensive investigation of low frequency noise in single electron transistors as a function of gain is presented. Comparing the output noise with gain for a large number of bias points, it is found that the noise is dominated by external charge noise.

Matched wideband low-noise amplifiers for radio astronomy [PDF]
Two packaged low noise amplifiers for the 0.3–4 GHz frequency range are described. The amplifiers can be operated at temperatures of 300–4 K and achieve noise temperatures in the 5 K range (

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Dephasing of qubits by transverse low-frequency noise
We analyze the dissipative dynamics of a two-level quantum system subject to low-frequency, e.g. 1/f noise, motivated by recent experiments with superconducting quantum circuits.

Noise reduction and hyperfine level coherence in spontaneous noise spectroscopy of atomic vapor [PDF]
We develop a system for measurements of power spectra of transmitted light intensity fluctuations, in which the extraneous noise, including shot noise, is reduced. In essence, we just apply light, measure the power of the transmitted light and derive its
