Ultrastable Self‐Cross‐linkable Electro‐Optic Materials Based on a Bisanthracene Scaffold
A novel bisanthracene‐based self‐cross‐linkable electro‐optic chromophore (TD2) is developed. TD2 exhibits a high r33 of 141 pm/V and a cross‐linked Tg up to 195 °C, retaining 99.75% of its initial EO response after 500 h at 85 °C, showing record‐high thermal stability for single‐molecule self‐cross‐linking EO materials.

The density of the solar wind plasma near the Earth’s magnetosphere sometimes decreases to only several per cent of the usual value, and such density extrema result in a significant reduction of the dynamic pressure and Alfvén Mach number ( $$M_A$$ M A )

A semi-empirical method is proposed for determining the rate of gas production in a flow-through gas generator (GG) with the allocation of a part of the gas flow produced by gasification of a low-melting solid material (LSM) in the total gas flow rate ...

Solid particles focusing, orienting, and de‐focusing in planar Poiseuille flow
Abstract Three‐dimensional, time‐dependent lattice‐Boltzmann simulations of neutrally buoyant particles in planar Poiseuille flow have been performed. The particles are spherical or cylindrical (the latter with a length over diameter ratios in the range 1/3 to 2) and have volume fraction ranging from virtually zero (one particle) to 0.15. The channel's

Electron Shock Drift Acceleration at a Low-Mach-number, Low-plasma-beta Quasi-perpendicular Shock
Shock drift acceleration (SDA) plays an important role in generating high-energy electrons at quasi-perpendicular shocks, but its efficiency in low-beta plasmas is questionable. In this article, we perform a two-dimensional particle-in-cell simulation of

Intergrain forces in low-Mach-number plasma wakes
Large-scale particle-in-cell calculations of the plasma wake interactions of two negatively charged grains smaller than the Debye length are carried out using the COPTIC code over a wide range of subsonic plasma flow velocities. In plasmas with temperature ratio $T_e/T_i=100$, it is found that a single grain's oscillatory wake disappears for flow Mach ...

Quantitative phase maps of single cells recorded in flow cytometry modality feed a hierarchical architecture of machine learning models for the label‐free identification of subtypes of ovarian cancer. The employment of a priori clinical information improves the classification performance, thus emulating the clinical application of liquid biopsy during ...

We present a novel AI‐integrated implantation‐on‐chip platform that enables mimicking and monitoring the maternal–fetal interactions at the early phases of human embryo implantation with high spatiotemporal resolution. The complexity of the trophoblast invasion process was addressed by conducting the analysis at global (rate of invasion) and local ...
