Identification of Thermoneutral Zone in Sahiwal Zebu Calves in Subtropical Climate of India
This study aimed to determine the thermoneutral zone (TNZ) in Sahiwal zebu calves under controlled environmental conditions. The experiment was conducted in the psychrometric chamber in two phases on six calves aged 8 to 11 months and weighing 120 to 150

Thermal survival limits of larvae and adults of Sirex noctilio (Hymenoptera: Siricidae) in China.
Temperature can be a major factor for the distribution of insects, especially among invasive insects. Sirex noctilio (Hymenoptera: Siricidae) has invaded many regions in China, causing enormous ecological and economic losses.

Model-dependence of the CO2 threshold for melting the hard Snowball Earth [PDF]
One of the critical issues of the Snowball Earth hypothesis is the CO2 threshold for triggering the deglaciation. Using Community Atmospheric Model version 3.0 (CAM3), we study the problem for the CO2 threshold.

Water temperature dependence of single bubble sonoluminescence threshold
Water temperature dependence of single bubble sonoluminescence (SBSL) threshold has been experimentally measured to perform measurements at different temperatures on the very same bubble. Results show lower thresholds, i.e.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Threshold effects of tungsten impurity accumulation on core ion temperature in EAST tokamak
The critical threshold of the tungsten impurity concentration on the ion temperature in the core region is experimentally identified and studied in this paper. Sufficient experiments have demonstrated that the effect of tungsten impurity concentration on

Investigation of the optical modal gain in an InAsP/AlGaInP quantum dot laser diode structure
The light–current (L–I) and current–voltage (I–V) characteristics of self-assembled InAsP/AlGaInP quantum dots grown by organometallic vapor-phase epitaxy were measured over a temperature range of 160–400 K.
