Quasi-LPV modeling and LPV control of a generic missile

In this paper, we will apply linear parameter-varying (LPV) control theory to the design of gain-scheduled missile autopilot. A nonlinear coupled 3-axis generic missile model is used as our design example. We will show that this model can be reduced to quasi-LPV form so that LPV design methodology can be applied.

Probabilistic Robust LPV Control

The contribution of this paper is a probabilistic synthesis method for robust linear parameter-varying control. Driven by the issues of deterministic robust synthesis algorithms, the chief idea is to combine robust control theory and convex optimization results with probabilistic relaxation and randomized algorithms.

GPC-LPV: a predictive LPV controller based on BMIs

In this paper the authors present a predictive linear parameter varying (LPV) controller based on the GPC controller [1]–[3], for nonlinear systems. The resulting controller is denoted as GPC-LPV. This one has the same structure as a general LPV controller [4]–[7], which has a lineal fractional dependence on the process signal measurements.
