Adaptive Barrier Control for Nonlinear Servomechanisms with Friction Compensation
This paper proposes an adaptive barrier controller for servomechanisms with friction compensation. A modified LuGre model is used to capture friction dynamics of servomechanisms. This model is incorporated into an augmented neural network (NN) to account

Friction compensation of servo system based on terminal switching function
Based on the LuGre friction model, a sliding mode adaptive controller is presented to compensate for the friction in the servo system. The terminal switching function is selected as the sliding mode surface, which can make the error of the system ...

Friction Compensation of the Pendubot based on the LuGre Model
This paper proposes a method to reduce the limit cycle phenomenon that appears in the steady-state response of a pendubot system, when it is controlled by a state feedback controller based on the linearized system model. For this, we employed the compensator which estimates the friction based on the LuGre model in the LQR control.

Spatial revolute joints with clearance and friction for dynamic analysis of multibody mechanical systems [PDF]
A study on the effects of dry spatial revolute joints with clearance and friction is delivered through this work. Both radial and axial clearances are taken into consideration which makes the model more realistic for three-dimensional motion.

Are there reliable constitutive laws for dynamic friction? [PDF]
Structural vibration controlled by interfacial friction is widespread, ranging from friction dampers in gas turbines to the motion of violin strings. To predict, control or prevent such vibration, a constitutive description of frictional interactions is ...
