Acquisition and tracking for communications between Lunar South Pole and Earth
2019 IEEE Aerospace Conference, 2019In this paper we design and analyze an end-to-end communication system between a lander/rover on the surface of the lunar South Pole and an Earth station. The acquisition and tracking system is discussed in detail. The communication system on the lander or rover could be used for the Earth-to-Moon communication.

Magnetic Anomalies Near the Lunar South Pole and Their Consequences
We report improved mapping of crustal magnetic anomalies near the lunar poles using a combination of Lunar Prospector and Kaguya orbital magnetometer data.
