Impact of a Riding Event and Ambient Temperature on the Heart Rate of Gotlandsruss Ponies

After monitoring the heart rate of Gotlandsruss Ponies during a pony riding event, visual and auditory stimulation from visitors had no effect on their heart rate. However, as ambient temperature increases so did heart rate (photograph taken by Daniel Ahl).
