Nanodiamonds as lutetium-177 carriers for nuclear medicine
The work investigated the sorption of carrier-free 177Lu isolated from neutron-irradiated 176Yb2O3, and with a carrier obtained by irradiation of natLu2O3, by commercial and oxidized nanodiamonds (NDs) of various brands from aqueous solutions to identify among them a promising carrier for further research for the purposes of nuclear medicine.
