Evaluating the Impact of Age on Prostate Cancer Overdiagnosis Using Long‐Term Follow‐Up From the CAP Randomised Trial

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 159, Issue 5, Page 1196-1203, 1 September 2026.
Uncertainty persists over whether the benefits of prostate‐specific antigen (PSA) screening outweigh harms from overdiagnosis, a key barrier to population‐wide adoption. Autofluorescence Imaging and Methylene Blue‐Mediated Photodynamic Therapy for Early Detection and Management of Subclinical Actinic Cheilitis

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, Volume 19, Issue 9, September 2026.
Fluorescence imaging enables the detection of subclinical actinic cheilitis by revealing early optical alterations in lip tissue. Methylene blue‐mediated photodynamic therapy selectively targets dysplastic areas, enhancing treatment precision and preventing disease progression without adverse effects.

Protective Effects of Luteolin Against Cisplatin‐Induced Hepatic and Renal Toxicity: Biochemical and Cellular Evidence

open access: yesJournal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Volume 40, Issue 9, September 2026.
Cisplatin induces oxidative stress and hepatotoxicity, as evidenced by increased serum biomarkers and oxidative damage parameters. Luteolin, derived from Pistacia terebinthus, mitigates these effects by enhancing antioxidant defense systems and improving cell viability in cancer cell lines.
