Discretization schemes for Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals in time-delay systems. [PDF]

open access: yesKybernetika, 2001
Summary: This article gives an overview of discretized Lyapunov functional methods for time-delay systems. Quadratic Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals are discretized by choosing the kernel to be piecewise linear. As a result, the stability conditions may be written in the form of linear matrix inequalities.

Lyapunov-Krasovskii Functionals of Robust Type and Their Legendre-Tau-Based Approximation [PDF]

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine
Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals of robust type have recently been introduced for the stability analysis in time-delay systems. They are inspired by the wide-spread Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals of complete type, but aim at improved robustness results ...

Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functionals for additional dynamics

International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2003
AbstractA class of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals for the additional dynamics introduced by special transformation of time delay systems is given in the paper. Some basic properties of the functionals are also discussed. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional for coupled differential-functional equations

2007 46th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2007
This article discusses the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach for the stability problem of coupled differential-functional equations. Such systems include as special cases many types of time-delay systems, including lossless propagation model, some neutral time-delay systems and singular time-delay systems.

Stability of networked control systems: A Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional plus approach

ISA Transactions, 2023
This paper is concerned with stability for networked control systems with a transmission delay and data packet dropouts. A hybrid model is formulated for the networked control systems to separate the constant delay and data packet dropouts, and a stability theorem is established for the hybrid model.

Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals for homogeneous time delay systems of neutral type

International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2021
AbstractIn this article, we present a general construction of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals for a class of neutral‐type time delay systems with a linear difference part and homogeneous right‐hand sides of degree strictly greater than one. Under an assumption that the corresponding difference matrix equation as well as a system with zero delays are ...

Asymmetric Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method on stability of time‐delay systems

International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2021
AbstractThis paper presents a new asymmetric Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method for investigating the asymptotic stability of time‐delay systems. Two resulting delay‐dependent asymptotic stability conditions in the form of linear matrix inequalities are given. The advantages of the new approaches are verified theoretically and numerically.

A novel control design for delayed teleoperation based on delay-scheduled Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Control, 2014
International audienceThis paper addresses the controller design problem for bilateral teleoperation over unreliable networks. The stability and tracking performance analysis are presented for a novel force-reflecting emulator control scheme.
