Relaxed Stability Condition for T-S Fuzzy Systems Using a New Fuzzy Lyapunov Function
This paper presents the stability analysis for continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems using a fuzzy Lyapunov function. The proposed fuzzy Lyapunov function involves the time derivatives of states to include new free matrices in the LMI stability ...

Computation of General Inner-Outer and Spectral Factorizations
In this paper, we solve two problems in linear systems theory: the computation of the inner-outer and spectral factorizations of a continuous-time system considered in the most general setting.

Abstract Fast oscillations observed in wind farms and other renewable energy systems interfaced with power grids must be addressed promptly to prevent devastating shutdown and damage. Existing approaches mainly target high‐magnitude oscillations using data‐intensive convolutional neural networks (CNNs), leading to delayed detection and overlooking mild

Lyapunov function having the stability matrix of Hermite in its time derivative
A method developed to generate Lyapunov functionals for partial differential equations is applied to an nth-order ordinary linear differential equation. The resulting function V has the Hermite stability matrix in its derivative V. The function is efficient as the sufficient stability conditions obtained from V are also necessary.

A Periodic Systems Toolbox for MATLAB
The recently developed Periodic Systems Toolbox for MATLAB is described. The basic approach to develop this toolbox was to exploit the powerful object manipulation features of MATLAB via flexible andfunctionally rich high level m-functions, while ...

Renormalization techniques for inflation systems and some of their applications
In this work, renormalization methods for quantities related to the diffraction of inflation systems are surveyed.Exact renormalization techniques are important and powerful, particularly for inflation‐generated systems. We review recent results in this direction.

Generalized matrix sign function for problems in systems theory
Increasing interest has been shown in recent years in the utilization of the matrix sign function and later in the extended and generalized matrix sign function in several areas of applied control and systems theory.
