Lyapunov spectra and conjugate-pairing rule for confined atomic fluids [PDF]
In this work we present nonequilibrium molecular dynamics simulation results for the Lyapunov spectra of atomic fluids confined in narrow channels of the order of a few atomic diameters. We show the effect that realistic walls have on the Lyapunov spectra. All the degrees of freedom of the confined system have been considered.

Stability of quantum motion: Beyond Fermi-golden-rule and Lyapunov decay [PDF]
We study, analytically and numerically, the stability of quantum motion for a classically chaotic system. We show the existence of different regimes of fidelity decay which deviate from Fermi Golden rule and Lyapunov decay.

Master equation approach to the conjugate pairing rule of Lyapunov spectra for many-particle thermostated systems [PDF]
The master equation approach to Lyapunov spectra for many-particle systems is applied to non-equilibrium thermostatted systems to discuss the conjugate pairing rule. We consider iso-kinetic thermostatted systems with a shear flow sustained by an external restriction, in which particle interactions are expressed as a Gaussian white randomness.

Golden rule decay versus Lyapunov decay of the quantum Loschmidt echo
The overlap of two wave functions evolving in time with slightly different Hamiltonians decays exponentially, for perturbation strengths greater than the level spacing. We present numerical evidence for a dynamical system that the decay rate is given by the smallest of the Lyapunov exponent of the classical chaotic dynamics and the level broadening ...

for the exponents of systems with more than one pair of exponents. In this paper we present an analytical calculation of the four Lyapunov exponents for a dilute, three-dimensional Lorentz gas with randomly placed hard sphere scatterers, both for an equilibrium system and for a system where the moving particle is placed in a thermostatted applied field.

Planar mixed flow and chaos: Lyapunov exponents and the conjugate-pairing rule [PDF]
In this work we characterize the chaotic properties of atomic fluids subjected to planar mixed flow, which is a linear combination of planar shear and elongational flows, in a constant temperature thermodynamic ensemble. With the use of a recently developed nonequilibrium molecular dynamics algorithm, compatible and reproducible periodic boundary ...

Various system parameter variations occur during operations in several existing process industries. These parameter variations result in process shifts, thus, requiring adequate control strategies to compensate for these alterations, which consequently maintain desired system response.

Comparative study of adaptive controller using MIT rules and Lyapunov method for MPPT standalone PV systems [PDF]
The Photovoltaic Generator have a nonlinear characteristic function relating the intensity at the voltage I = f (U) and depend on the variation of solar irradiation and temperature, In addition, its point of operation depends directly on the load that it supplies.
