In this study, the biochemical parameters and physico-chemical reactions of the body in experimental hypoxia, using a Sprague Dawley Rat Model. Hypoxia changed the dynamics and biochemical parameters of blood and lymph, as well as urine.

Abstract A study was made of the progressive development of structure and metalophilia of the axillary nodes obtained from fetuses of various weights. Metalophil cells were rare in fetuses weighing less than 1000 Gm., while the adult pattern of metalophilia was not observed until the fetus approached 2000 Gm.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.
