Intrapulmonary lymph nodes masquerading as pleural metastasis [PDF]
AbstractIntrapulmonary lymph nodes (IPLNs) are a frequent finding of computed tomography for lung cancer and can grow without malignant findings. Linear densities extending from the nodules are a characteristic of IPLNs.

Treatment planning with a 2.5 MV photon beam for radiation therapy
Abstract Purpose The shallow depth of maximum dose and higher dose fall‐off gradient of a 2.5 MV beam along the central axis that is available for imaging on linear accelerators is investigated for treatment of shallow tumors and sparing the organs at risk (OARs) beyond it.

Predicting Axillary Lymph Node Metastasis in Early Breast Cancer Using Deep Learning on Primary Tumor Biopsy Slides [PDF]
Objectives: To develop and validate a deep learning (DL)-based primary tumor biopsy signature for predicting axillary lymph node (ALN) metastasis preoperatively in early breast cancer (EBC) patients with clinically negative ALN. Methods: A total of 1,058 EBC patients with pathologically confirmed ALN status were enrolled from May 2010 to August 2020.

Integrating features from lymph node stations for metastatic lymph node detection [PDF]
Metastasis on lymph nodes (LNs), the most common way of spread for primary tumor cells, is a sign of increased mortality. However, metastatic LNs are time-consuming and challenging to detect even for professional radiologists due to their small sizes, high sparsity, and ambiguity in appearance.

Cervical lymph node metastasis of porocarcinoma
Facial porocarcinoma is representing an extremely rare entity. These dermal adnex carcinomas can develop from a benign inconspicuous nodule, the poroma. We report about a patient who showed a cervical lymph node metastasis six months after excision of a cervical porocarcinoma. A B-cell lymphoma was also diagnosed during staging using FDG PET-CT.
