Recent Advancements in Lung Cancer Metastasis Prevention Based on Nanostrategies
Metastasis is the leading cause of death in patients with lung cancer. Nanomedicine can be used to prepare efficient drug delivery systems owing to their advantages and plays an important role in the synergistic antimetastasis of lung cancer. This comprehensive review summarizes the emerging nanostrategies against lung cancer metastasis based on the ...

DNA Origami‐Cyanine Nanocomplex for Precision Imaging of KRAS‐Mutant Pancreatic Cancer Cells
DNA origami‐cyanine (Do‐Cy) nanocomplexes are synthesized to selectively image KRAS‐mutant pancreatic cancer cells in the highly desmoplastic tumors. This study shows that the Do‐Cy nanocomplexes are preferentially internalized by cancer cells over other stroma cells via KRAS‐dependent macropinocytosis.

How useful is the assessment of lymphatic vascular density in oral carcinoma prognosis?
Background Lymphatic vessels are major routes for metastasis in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), but lymphatic endothelial cells (LECs) are difficult to recognize in tumor histological sections. D2-40 stains podoplanin, a molecule expressed

CCR7 and IRF4-dependent dendritic cells regulate lymphatic collecting vessel permeability.
Lymphatic collecting vessels direct lymph into and from lymph nodes (LNs) and can become hyperpermeable as the result of a previous infection. Enhanced permeability has been implicated in compromised immunity due to reduced flow of lymph and immune cells

This study investigates the role of protein arginine methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1) in endothelial cells (ECs) in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Mice with endothelial‐specific PRMT1 deletion develop pulmonary hemorrhage, inflammation, and apoptosis, driven by excessive nuclear factor kappa B activation.

Histological insight into the hepatic tissue of the Nile monitor (Varanus niloticus) [PDF]
The liver of reptiles is considered an important study model for the interaction between environment and hepatic tissue. Little is known about the histology of the liver of reptiles. The aim of the current study was to elucidate the histological architecture of the liver of the Nile monitor (Varanus niloticus).
