Biomimetic Fibrinogen Nanofiber Scaffolds for Vascular Hematopoietic Stem Cell Niche Engineering
This study presents an advanced in vitro model of the vascular hematopoietic stem cell niche using self‐assembled fibrinogen nanofibers, mimicking the basement membrane in bone marrow (BM) sinusoids. The model supports the coculture of microvascular endothelial cells, stromal cells, and hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, providing insights into ...

We present a strategy to enhance magnetic hyperthermia therapy by modulating nanoparticle–cell interactions. Antibody‐functionalized magnetic nanoparticles targeting the low‐internalizing CCR9 receptor enable spatially controlled membrane anchoring, reducing aggregation and maximizing heat generation under alternating magnetic fields.

A bone substitute with gentamicin physically precipitated onto the surface of carbonate apatite exhibits prompt drug release, high bactericidal activity, and osteogenic capacity. Efficient antibacterial activity mitigates early postoperative neutrophil accumulation, the status of which may serve as a potential parameter for evaluating the antibacterial

Type 2 innate lymphoid cell and kidney disease
Innate lymphoid cells(ILCs)are a newly-discovered family of immune cells in innate immunity with acquired immune function.Usually located at mucosal barriers, they mediate early immunosurveillance and regulate immune responses through secreting cytokines.

Insight into lymphoid tissue morphogenesis
Secondary lymphoid organs (SLO) are crucial structures for immune-surveillance and rapid immune responses allowing resident lymphocytes to encounter antigen-presenting cells that carry antigens from peripheral tissues. These structures develop during embryonic life through a tightly regulated process that involves interactions between haematopoietic ...
