Bullous Eruption Associated With Loncastuximab Tesirine in a Patient With Diffuse Large B‐Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesJournal of Cutaneous Pathology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Loncastuximab tesirine (LT) is an antibody‐drug conjugate (ADC), a novel class of therapeutics that combines a target‐specific monoclonal antibody with a cytotoxic agent via a chemical linker. LT has been approved in the United States as therapy for relapsed or refractory diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma (DLBCL).

Cytology‐First Diagnostic Workflow for Melanoma of Unknown Primary With Molecular Profiling

open access: yesCytopathology, EarlyView.
Cytology‑first diagnostic workflow for melanoma of unknown primary. Fine‑needle aspiration of an enlarged lymph node enables rapid cytologic evaluation and immunocytochemical confirmation of melanocytic lineage (SOX10). This early cytologic diagnosis facilitates timely surgical excision and comprehensive genomic profiling, supporting integrated ...

When Small Cells Matter: Diagnosing Bladder Small Cell Carcinoma on Urine Cytology

open access: yesCytopathology, EarlyView.
Small cell carcinoma of the bladder is rare, aggressive and diagnostically challenging on urine cytology. We report a case detected in urine and confirmed by cell block immunohistochemistry, highlighting the importance of careful assessment and limitations of the Paris System.

What Are Computer‐Assisted Methods Achieving in Fine‐Needle Aspiration Cytology of the Pancreas? A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesCytopathology, EarlyView.
This meta‐analysis demonstrates high diagnostic accuracy of computer‐assisted methods in pancreatic EUS‐FNA cytology (AUC 0.92–0.96) and supports an integrated, cytopathologist‐led workflow in which artificial intelligence functions as an adjunct to diagnostic interpretation and on‐site evaluation (ROSE). Out of the Ordinary, but Not Out of the Question: Atypia in Pancreatic Lesions Is Not Always Carcinoma

open access: yesCytopathology, EarlyView.
An incidental pancreatic lesion in a 69‐year‐old woman was sampled by EUS‐guided fine‐needle biopsy. Integrated cytopathological and histopathological evaluation with immunochemical staining supported organ‐preserving surgery. ABSTRACT Pancreatic perivascular epithelioid cell tumours (PEComas) are exceptionally rare mesenchymal neoplasms.
