Dyeing of Hemicellulose‐Rich Man‐Made Cellulosic Fibers Using Reactive Dyes
Hemicellulose‐rich (HR‐Cell) fibers transform a largely wasted wood‐biomass component into a sustainable textile material, yet their high hemicellulose content complicates alkaline wet processing and dyeing. This study systematically examines how different alkaline conditions affect the structural integrity and dyeability of HR‐Cell fibers, providing ...

INFLUENCES OF ALKALI PRETREATMENT ON LYOCELL WOVEN FABRIC PROPERTIES AFTER ABRASION
In this study, alkali pretreatment in various concentrations were applied to Lyocell woven fabrics to decrease the fibrillation tendency of fibers and the influences of alkali pretreatment on tensile and tearing properties of Lyocell fabrics after abrasion were investigated. Alkali pretreatment reduced fibrillation of Lyocell fibers.
