Computer assisted M-mode echocardiogram analysis
Clinical Physics and Physiological Measurement, 1982An analysis system has been developed to aid the quantitative interpretation of echocardiograms. A small and relatively inexpensive desk-top computer, which requires no modification is used. The analysis system enables a variety of complex continuous measurements to be made. The include left ventricular dimension changes, velocities and "work" diagrams.

Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, 1992
AbstractA nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) imaging and display method for the observation of the continuous motion of objects is presented. By modifying a line scan technique, the spin‐density distribution along a line is displayed in succession. Although spatial information is limited to only one dimension, the motion of the object is recorded at ...

Subxiphoid M-mode echocardiography in atrioventricular defects
Pediatric Cardiology, 1982M-mode echocardiograms obtained using the subxiphoid position of the transducer were compared with those obtained using the parasternal position in 21 children with atrioventricular defects. In the 16 children with complete atrioventricular defect, it was always possible to demonstrate a common valve orifice wholly occupying the space between the ...

Atrial Flutter Demonstrated by M-Mode Echocardiography
Pediatric Cardiology, 2014This report and images describe a case of atrial flutter with 2:1 conduction pattern in a 3 year-old male with d-TGA, ASD, and VSD status-post repair, which was demonstrated by M-mode echocardiography.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: Subclassification by M mode echocardiography
The American Journal of Cardiology, 1980Abstract Seventy-four patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, hemodynamically classified into well defined subgroups (left ventricular outflow tract obstruction at rest [27 patients], labile obstruction [4 patients], latent obstruction [28 patients] and no obstruction [15 patients]) were studied with M mode echocardiography.

[Esophageal M mode echocardiography].
Archives des maladies du coeur et des vaisseaux, 1984M mode echocardiography may be difficult or even impossible from the standard transducer positions (parasternal or subcostal) in obese, broncho-emphysematous patients and subjects with thoracic malformations. For this reason, the authors used the oesophageal route.

Role of M-mode Technique in Today's Echocardiography
Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, 2010M-mode echocardiography is considered to be obsolete by many. The technique rarely is included in American Society of Echocardiography standards documents, except for M-mode measurements, which have limited value. The superior temporal resolution of M-mode echocardiography is frequently overlooked.

Normal values of the canine M-mode echocardiogram
American Journal of Veterinary Research, 1984SUMMARY M-mode echocardiograms were recorded from 40 healthy dogs, awake and unsedated, in left, lateral recumbent position. Fifteen echocardiographic measurements were taken and correlated with body weights using linear regression equations. The left ventricular internal dimension in systole and diastole, the left ventricular wall thickness, the ...

m-Mode SVPWM for Multilevel Inverter
2019Compared with the aforementioned two-level inverter, the multilevel inverter can further reduce the harmonics of the output voltage and current. However, the structure of the multilevel inverter is more complicated, which makes the design of the SVPWM switching sequences more difficult.
