LncRNA CRNDE promotes hepatoma cell proliferation by regulating the metabolic reprogramming of M2 macrophages via ERK pathway

open access: yesCancer Cell International
Background LncRNA colorectal neoplasia differentially expressed (CRNDE) was found to be an important regulator in many cancers. This project focuses on the function of CRNDE on macrophage metabolic reprogramming and Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Method

Overlooked wide companions of nearby F stars

open access: yes, 2016
AIMS: We checked a sample of 545 F stars within 50 pc for wide companions using existing near-infrared and optical sky surveys. METHODS: Applying the common proper motion (CPM) criterion, we detected wide companion candidates with 6-120 arcsec angular ...

Fibrates Inhibit PLTP‐induced M2 Macrophage Infiltration and Increase the Sensitivity of Hepatocellular Carcinoma to ICIs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phospholipid transfer protein(PLTP) plays a critical role in forming a complex with kinase A (AURKA) and P65. This interaction facilitates phosphorylation of P65 at Ser536, leading to the activation of the NF‐κB signaling pathway. Ultimately, this leads to the upregulation of downstream cytokines, including IL‐6, IL‐8, and CSF‐1, which promotes M2 ...

P5.05 INTERICTAL ARTERIAL WALL PARAMETERS IN WOMEN WITH MIGRAINE

open access: yesArtery Research, 2009
Objective: According to data of epidemiological and clinical studies, migraine with aura (MA) is associated with cardiovascular disorders, and migraine without aura (M0) is linked to carotid artery dissection. The aim of this cross-sectional study was to

A simple morphodynamic model for sand banks and large-scale sand pits subject to asymetrical tides [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We extend existing knowledge on theoretical growth characteristics of tidal sand banks by including asymmetrical tides with an M0, M2 and M4-constituent, thus allowing for migration.

Estimating multidimensional probability fields using the Field Estimator for Arbitrary Spaces (FiEstAS) with applications to astrophysics

open access: yes, 2010
The Field Estimator for Arbitrary Spaces (FiEstAS) computes the continuous probability density field underlying a given discrete data sample in multiple, non-commensurate dimensions.

A Nanoparticle‐Integrated Complete Manufacturing Pipeline of Chemically Engineered Exosomes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a novel manufacture technology of chemically engineered exosomes. The four steps of manufacturing, i.e., biogenesis, loading, isolation, and storage, are integrated by the use of a nanoparticle. The manufacture technology incorporates three innovative components, i.e., a new nano‐bio effect, a new composite nanoparticle, and a new isolation ...

Radical‐Mediated, Substrate‐Independent Fabrication of Hybrid Solid–Hydrogel Materials With Tunable Crosslinking: An Initiator‐ and Crosslinker‐Free Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a substrate‐independent, reagent‐free plasma strategy that forms radical‐rich interlayers for covalent hydrogel attachment without initiators or crosslinkers. The long‐lived radicals drive in situ gelation, creating robust, cytocompatible hybrid solid–hydrogel constructs across diverse substrates.
