Lymphocyte Antigen 6G Mediates Vagotomy‐Associated Reduction in Body Weight
The FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 7, 15 April 2026.Vagotomy was associated with lower body weight and epididymal white adipose tissue (eWAT) mass, as well as increased Ly6G+ cell infiltration in eWAT. This vagotomy‐associated weight loss was significantly attenuated in neutrophil‐deficient mice, suggesting Ly6G+ cells participate in the regulation of eWAT energy homeostasis.
