Influence of rake face texturing on machining performance of carbide tools
Controlled surface texture of cutting tools has potential to reduce cutting forces, tool wear, etc. Even though several different textured cutting tools have been identified and tested in machining of various workpiece materials, it is difficult to ...

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Analytical and experimental study of feed rate in high-speed milling [PDF]
In the context of high-speed milling (HSM), during the machining process dynamic machine response has to be identified. To achieve this, we have to calculate the feed rate evolution in linear and circular interpolation according to dynamic performance of

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Alternative Trajectories for the Optimization of Trochoidal Milling in Hardened Steel [PDF]
This study investigates the machining performance of trochoidal toolpaths in hardened AISI 4340 steel. Three toolpaths—conventional, horizontal semi-ellipse, and vertical semi-ellipse—were analyzed in terms of machining time and machining forces under ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.
