Genetic epilepsies with myoclonic seizures: Mechanisms and syndromes
Abstract Genetic epilepsy with myoclonic seizures encompasses a heterogeneous spectrum of conditions, ranging from benign and self‐limiting forms to severe, progressive disorders. While their causes are diverse, a significant proportion stems from genetic abnormalities.

Microvascular and Morphologic Changes of the Macula over Lifetime
In ocular, neurologic, and cardiovascular diseases, macular segmentation data from spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) provide morphologic, and OCT-angiography (OCTA) results give microvascular information about the macula.

Outcomes of Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve Reinnervation for Pediatric Unilateral Vocal Fold Paralysis
The objective of this study was to describe voice outcomes from the largest single‐center, single‐surgeon experience with recurrent laryngeal nerve reinnervation for pediatric unilateral vocal fold paralysis. In 102 patients who underwent reinnervation, we demonstrate that reinnervation is an effective and durable intervention for treatment of ...

Slow‐Phase Nystagmus Velocity as a Risk Factor for Lateral Canal BPPV Recurrence
This study investigated slow‐phase nystagmus velocity (SPV) at initial diagnosis as an objective vestibular predictor for the recurrence of lateral semicircular canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). Binomial logistic regression analysis demonstrated that an elevated initial SPV is a novel, independent risk factor for recurrence ...

Functional Dissociation Between Cervical VEMP and Posterior Canal vHIT in 1770 Unselected Ears
Cervical VEMP and posterior canal vHIT are conventionally treated as measures of a single inferior vestibular unit. In 1770 unselected ears from a diagnosis‐agnostic registry, the two tests disagreed in 72.7% of ears abnormal on at least one test, with chance‐corrected agreement near zero (κ = 0.097) and unchanged across age strata.

Congenital toxoplasmosis as one phenocopy of North Carolina Macular Dystrophy (NCMD/MCDR1)
Purpose: To highlight the striking similarities between the lesions of congenital toxoplasmosis (CT) and North Carolina Macular Dystrophy (NCMD) using multimodal imaging including spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT).
