Modeling and Analysis of Suspension Frame of Maglev Train

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2020
Abstract Based on the acceleration feedback system, the vertical dynamic model of the low-speed maglev train is established. By decoupling the suspension frame module, the author conducted a stress analysis of the single-sided and the entire suspension system, and established a system dynamics model of the suspension frame.

Influence of the suspension gap on the wake characteristics of a 600 km/h superconducting maglev train

open access: yesThe Physics of Fluids
Although the suspension gap between a maglev train and its track is narrow, it has a significant impact on the aerodynamic performance of the train. This study investigated the effect of the suspension gap on the wake flow of a superconducting maglev ...

Research on Integrated Intelligent Control and Energy Saving Technology of Electro‐Hydraulic Excavator

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2025.
The research proposes a variable‐speed fixed‐displacement pump control strategy combined with a fuzzy PID algorithm. A co‐simulation model is developed, key parameters are set, and comparative energy consumption analyses are conducted between the variable‐speed fixed‐displacement pump and the fixed‐speed variable‐displacement pump through simulation ...

IMPLEMENTATION MODEL OF MOTOR TRACTION FORCE OF MAGLEV TRAIN

open access: yesScience and Transport Progress, 2016
Purpose. Traction force implementation (TFI) by the motor of magnetic levitation train (MLT) occurs in the process of electric-to-kinetic energy transformation at interaction of inductor and armature magnetic fields. Ac-cordingly, the aim of this study is to obtain a correct description of such energy transformation. Methodology.

Maglev train levitation control via tracking differentiator with small phase lag

open access: yesIET Control Theory &Applications, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
This work proposes an enhanced tracking differentiator to ensure a small phase lag in both filtering and differential signals, The favourable characteristic is obtained by including the system damping and the amplitude factor into the control algorithm that is applied to construct the differentiator. Abstract The levitation control system is a critical

Maglev trains

open access: yes, 2014
Maglev trains are wonderful inventions that fly on air. They use magnets to levitate and propel the trains forward. There is no friction between the train and the track! The batteries can levitate the train for 30 minutes without any additional energy.

An Electromechanical Coupling Resonance Suppression Method for IPMSM Drive System Considering the Fluctuation of DC‐Link Voltage

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
With the consideration of the DC‐link voltage fluctuation, the motor output torque contains a large number of fluctuating components, which may trigger electromechanical coupling resonance (EMCR) and deteriorate the system control performance. In order to solve this problem, the model of the electromechanical coupled system is established, and the ...

Design and Multi‐Objective Optimisation of Double‐Sided Flux‐Concentrating and Stacked‐Winding Permanent Magnet Linear Motor

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
In this paper, a variety of primary‐excited permanent magnet linear motors (PMLMs) are analysed and compared and a double‐sided flux‐concentrating slot permanent magnet linear motor (DFS‐PMLM) is proposed. The structural parameters of the proposed motor are optimised.
