Electrochemical Analysis of Magnesium Orotate Tautomers
Materials Science Forum, 2023The oxide-ruthenium electrode is used for the analysis of oxygen-containing biologically active organic substances. This electrode can be recommended for the analysis of formic acid in dilute solutions (no more than 2 ml in 100 ml of solution). Due to the presence of two display potentials, the reliability of the determination of formic acid in ...

Magnesium Orotate in Severe Congestive Heart Failure (MACH)
International Journal of Cardiology, 2009Aim of this study was to evaluate adjuvant magnesium orotate on mortality and clinical symptoms in patients with severe heart failure under optimal cardiovascular medication. In a monocentric, controlled, double-blind study, 79 patients with severe congestive heart failure (NYHA IV) under optimal medical cardiovascular treatment were randomised to ...

AbstractNeutralization of orotic acid (OrH2) by lithium or magnesium hydroxide in aqueous medium yields the crystalline metal orotate hydrates Li(OrH). H2O (1) and Mg(OrH)2. (H2O)6 (2). By single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies it has been shown that 1 (space group P1) forms a layer structure, with lithium in a tetrahedral environment of oxygen atoms

Study of Degradation Kinetics of Magnesium Orotate Dihydrate by Spectroscopic Method
Journal of Applied Spectroscopy, 2020In the present work, we developed and validated five spectrophotometric methods for determination of magnesium orotate dihydrate in distilled water, pH 1.2, 4.5, 6.8, and 7.4 buffer systems. These media were selected to extend the applicability of the developed methods from the development of dosage forms to regular quality control.

Effects of Magnesium Orotate on Exercise Tolerance in Patients With Coronary Heart Disease
Cardiovascular Drugs and Therapy, 1998In a pilot study at 14 patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) and left-ventricular dysfunction (left ventricular enddiastolic volume [LVEDV] > or = 100 ml), who actively participated in an ambulatory cardiac sports group, left ventricular endsystolic volume (LVESV), LVEDV and duration of exercise were analyzed by echocardiographic and ergometric ...

Magnesium Orotate Elicits Acute Cardioprotection at Reperfusion in Isolated and in Vivo Rat Hearts
Canadian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology, 2013Orotic acid and its salts chronically administered have been shown to significantly improve cardiac function in pathological settings associated with ischemia–reperfusion (I/R) injury. The aim of our study was to investigate the effect of magnesium orotate (Mg-Or) administration at the onset of post-ischemic reperfusion on myocardial function and ...
