Prototype REBCO Z1 and Z2 shim coils for ultra high-field
We present promising results of novel high-temperature superconducting (HTS) shim coil prototypes that circumvent the size and strength limitation of our earlier innovative HTS shim concept based on 46-mm wide REBCO tape.

Molecular determinants of signal transduction in tropomyosin receptor kinases
Tropomyosin receptor kinases control critical neuronal functions, but how do the same receptors produce diverse cellular responses? This review explores the structural mechanisms behind Trk signaling diversity, focusing on allosteric modulation and ligand bias.

An ultra-compact low temperature scanning probe microscope for magnetic fields above 30 T
We present the design of a highly compact High Field Scanning Probe Microscope (HF-SPM) for operation at cryogenic temperatures in an extremely high magnetic field, provided by a water-cooled Bitter magnet able to reach 38 T.

DDX3X induces mesenchymal transition of endothelial cells by disrupting BMPR2 signaling
Elevated DDX3X expression led to downregulation of BMPR2, a key regulator of endothelial homeostasis and function. Our co‐immunoprecipitation assays further demonstrated a molecular interaction between DDX3X and BMPR2. Notably, DDX3X promoted lysosomal degradation of BMPR2, thereby impairing its downstream signaling and facilitating endothelial‐to ...

In the first section I deal with those limitations inherent in the “discourse ethics” which are object of a critical reception in Axel Honneth’s work, only from this basis one can see in perspective the influences of the hegelian System of Ethical Life

KHS‐Cnd peptide is able to impair biofilm formation and disaggregate mature biofilms in Acinetobacter baumannii clinical isolates. Differences in extracellular metabolites reflect changes in biofilm metabolism due to KHS‐Cnd treatment. Among the differentially represented extracellular metabolites upon KHS‐Cnd treatment, the significantly altered ...

Lessons learned from European and Japanese production of ITER toroidal field coils
In 2023, the manufacturing of all the ITER TF coils has been completed 15 years after the sign of procurement arrangements in 2008. This paper has been jointly submitted by F4E and QST to recollect the lessons learnt in the production of the two parties ...
