Idea of the high-resolution eddy current tomography is presented. Proposed system gives possibility of cylinder-shaped elements made of both magnetic and non-magnetic materials testing. To validate the concept, the tomographic measurements were carried out on set of steel cylinders with non-magnetic copper inclusion.

Numerical simulation of eddy current testing for plate with defects
2024 8th International Conference on Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Engineering (ICEMCE)The electromagnetic field of plate specimen containing defects was simulated by use of the finite element technology. The distribution of magnetic field and the size of the induced electromotive force were obtained.

The magnetic and electric characteristics of 4.7-, 2.2-, and 1.5-mm-thick hardened and tempered carbon-steel specimens with a carbon content of 0.35–1.02% have been studied. The relations of these characteristics to the carbon content, structure, and hardness of the studied specimens are analyzed. The structural state, the thickness, and the acceptable
