Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Magnetocaloric effect and critical behavior in Fe-La-Zr rapidly quenched ribbons
Fe90-xLaxZr10 (x = 1 and 2) rapidly quenched ribbons with thickness of about 15 μm were prepared by the melt-spinning method. X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the structure of the ribbons is mostly amorphous.

Large Magnetic Entropy Change in Ni50Mn50−xInx Heusler Alloys
The magnetocaloric properties of polycrystalline Ni50Mn50−xInx (15 ⩽ x ⩽ 16) associated with the second order magnetic transition at the Curie temperature and the first order martensitic transition were studied using magnetization measurements.

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

Large magnetic entropy change in Cu-doped manganites
Magnetic entropy change above 300 K. which is larger than that of gadolinium (Phys. Rev, B 57 (1998) 3478), has been observed in a Cu-doped manganites of La0.7Sr0.3Mn1-xCuxO3 (x = 0.05, 0.1).

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
