Tensor coaxial calibration of magnetic sensor array
In order to effectively solve the influence of the magnetic sensor array error caused by axial inconsistency on the measurement accuracy, an array composed of four fluxgate sensors is built by using the Euler rotation matrix, and the consistency ...

7000 Years of Aboriginal Mining at Sugarloaf Hill in the Riverland Region of South Australia
ABSTRACT Silcrete and chert are commonly represented in Aboriginal archaeological lithic assemblages across large parts of the southwestern Murray‐Darling Basin (MDB). In South Australia (SA), these materials were sourced from a series of quarries located along the incised course of the Murray River through the upper Riverland region.

Calibration of QM-MOURA three-axis magnetometer and gradiometer [PDF]
MOURA instrument is a three-axis magnetometer and gradiometer designed and developed for Mars MetNet Precursor mission. The initial scientific goal of the instrument is to measure the local magnetic field in the surroundings of the lander i.e.

We examined cortical tracking of speech under naturalistic auditory conditions by recording MEG responses while participants listened to superimposed spoken words and environmental sounds. Decoding sound envelopes and spectrograms from the MEG responses revealed a more accurate cortical tracking of speech compared to other natural sounds in the left ...

Beta‐band oscillations (βERD and βERS) were examined under different levels of cutaneous electrical stimulation. Both the amplitude and occurrence of βERD and βERS increased with stimulus intensity, whereas neither βERD nor βERS power was correlated with motor performance in healthy individuals.

Sleep Oscillations Across Cortical, Subcortical and Cerebellar Structures in Magnetoencephalography
This study uses source‐localised MEG to characterise oscillatory whole brain activity across NREM sleep stages, including the cerebellum. Findings reveal distinct, stage‐ and frequency‐specific patterns, with cerebellar signals reliably differentiable and engaged during sigma‐band activity in N2 sleep, highlighting the cerebellum's contribution to ...

Abstract Objectives/Background There is growing evidence that migraine is associated with attentional abnormalities, both during and between attacks, potentially affecting the cognitive processing of sensory stimulation. However, the underlying neurophysiological mechanism remains poorly understood.

Bragg gravity-gradiometer using the 1S0–3P1 intercombination transition of 88Sr
We present a gradiometer based on matter-wave interference of alkaline-earth-metal atoms, namely ^88 Sr. The coherent manipulation of the atomic external degrees of freedom is obtained by large-momentum-transfer Bragg diffraction, driven by laser fields ...

Magneto‐structural correlation in bis‐μ‐hydroxido Cu(II) dimers: The out‐of‐plane angle (α) of bridging hydroxido groups critically influences the exchange coupling constant (J). A three‐dimensional correlation combining α and the Cu‐OH‐Cu angle (θ) enables computationally accurate J prediction.
