Predictors of Brain Infarction in Pediatric Patients During Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation
In 179 pediatric ECMO patients, brain infarction (BI) occurred in 28% and was linked to markedly higher 30‐day mortality. VA ECMO mode (vs. VV) and higher pre‐ECMO arterial lactate independently predicted BI, supporting standardized neuro‐monitoring and liberal early brain CT, especially for children on VA ECMO.

Robust controller design for single axis magnetic levitation system. [PDF]
This paper demonstrates theoretically the main idea of magnetic force control in magnetic levitation system using flux density measurements. A Hall-effect sensor is used to sense the flux density in the air gap.

Cooling the Motion of Diamond Nanocrystals in a Magneto-Gravitational Trap in High Vacuum
Levitated diamond nanocrystals with nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centres in high vacuum have been proposed as a unique system for experiments in fundamental quantum mechanics, including the generation of large quantum superposition states and tests of quantum ...

Efficient fuzzy logic controller for magnetic levitation systems
Magnetic levitation is a system of suspending a body or a complete system against gravity. Suspending a system in air against gravity without using fixed structure for supporting is highly unstable and complex. In the previous research many techniques of stabilizing magnetic levitation systems were discussed.

ABSTRACT By adding CuO, the worm‐like amorphous phase and atomic clusters were simultaneously introduced, enabling the (Ni40Ti40Cu20)99.9O0.1 alloy micron columns to exhibit a uniform flow strain of over 40% and a strength of over 2.5 GPa during compression.
