Magnetic relaxation and magnetization field dependence measurements in La0.5Ca0.5MnO3
We reported a systematic change in the average magnetic relaxation rate, after the application and removal of a 5 T magnetic field, in a polycrystalline sample of La0.5Ca0.5MnO3. Magnetic relaxation measurements and magnetization versus field curves were

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

Screening for lung cancer: A systematic review of overdiagnosis and its implications
Low‐dose computed tomography (CT) screening for lung cancer may increase overdiagnosis compared to no screening, though the risk is likely low versus chest X‐ray. Our review of 8 trials (84 660 participants) shows added costs. Further research with strict adherence to modern nodule management strategies may help determine the extent to which ...

A robust inverse approach for estimating the magnetic material properties of an electromagnetic device with minimum influence of the uncertainty in the geometrical parameters [PDF]
The magnetic properties of the magnetic circuit of an electromagnetic device (EMD) can be identified by solving an inverse problem, where sets of measurements are properly interpreted using a forward numerical model of the device.

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Full‐manganese (Mn) Li‐rich materials have gained attention owing to the limited availability of cobalt‐ or nickel‐based cathodes commonly used in batteries, which greatly restricts their potential for large‐scale application.

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Improved Magnetic Information Storage using Return-Point Memory
The traditional magnetic storage mechanisms (both analog and digital) apply an external field signal H(t) to a hysteretic magnetic material, and read the remanent magnetization M(t), which is (roughly) proportional to H(t). We propose a new analog method
