Magnetic breakdown spectrum of a Kramers–Weyl semimetal
We calculate the Landau levels of a Kramers–Weyl semimetal thin slab in a perpendicular magnetic field B . The coupling of Fermi arcs on opposite surfaces broadens the Landau levels with a band width that oscillates periodically in 1/ B .

Spatial antiferromagnetic spin texture as a nano-oscillator
We report a theoretical study of the localized spatial magnetization configuration, which is a confined spin configuration of the target skyrmion/hopfion type in an antiferromagnet with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy, and then we solve the particular ...

Shear‐driven magnetic buoyancy oscillations [PDF]
AbstractThe effects of uniform horizontal shear on a stably stratified layer of gas is studied. The system is initially destabilized by a magnetically buoyant flux tube pointing in the cross‐stream direction. The shear amplifies the initial field to Lundquist numbers of about 200–400, but then its value drops to about 100–300, depending on the value of

Detection of fast oscillating magnetic fields using dynamic multiple TR imaging and Fourier analysis. [PDF]
Neuronal oscillations produce oscillating magnetic fields. There have been trials to detect neuronal oscillations using MRI, but the detectability in in vivo is still in debate. Major obstacles to detecting neuronal oscillations are (i) weak amplitudes, (

Modulating the magnetosphere of magnetars by internal magneto-elastic oscillations [PDF]
We couple internal torsional, magneto-elastic oscillations of highly magnetized neutron stars (magnetars) to their magnetospheres. The corresponding axisymmetric perturbations of the external magnetic field configuration evolve as a sequence of linear ...

Determination of the coronal magnetic field by coronal loop oscillations [PDF]
We develop a new method for the determination of the absolute value of the magnetic field strength in coronal closed magnetic structures, based on the analysis of flare-generated oscillations of coronal loops.

High-mobility two-dimensional carriers from surface Fermi arcs in magnetic Weyl semimetal films
High-mobility two-dimensional carriers originating from surface Fermi arcs in magnetic Weyl semimetals are highly desired for accessing exotic quantum transport phenomena and for topological electronics applications.

Hypersound excitation of magnetization and elastic displacement in case of magnetization reversal
The paper gives a description of hypersound magnetoelastic oscillations excitation along magnetisation reversal of normal magnetized single-layer and multi-layers ferrite plates, also provides definition of distinctive features of magnetic and elastic ...

Bulk-boundary quantum oscillations in inhomogeneous Weyl semimetals
In a Weyl semimetal, a spatially inhomogeneous Weyl node separation caused by lattice deformations can mimic the action of axial electromagnetic fields.

Quantum oscillations in interaction-driven insulators
In recent years it has become understood that quantum oscillations of the magnetization as a function of magnetic field, long recognized as phenomena intrinsic to metals, can also manifest in insulating systems.
