Medium‐Entropy Engineering of Magnetism in Layered Antiferromagnet CuxNi2(1‐x)CrxP2S6

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores the aliovalent substitution strategy with Cu and Cr replacing Ni in Ni₂P₂S₆ compounds to engineer magnetism. By creating CuxNi2(1‐x)CrxP2S6 medium‐entropy alloys, the research reveals the evolution of distinct magnetic phases, including the creation of weak ferromagnetism in intermediate compositions.

Molecular Dynamics Simulations of Microscopic Structural Transition and Macroscopic Mechanical Properties of Magnetic Gels [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Magnetic gels with embedded micro/nano-sized magnetic particles in crosslinked polymer networks can be actuated by external magnetic fields, with changes in their internal microscopic structures and macroscopic mechanical properties. We investigate the responses of such magnetic gels to an external magnetic field, by means of coarse-grained molecular ...

3D In Vitro Glioma‐Neuron‐Astrocyte Biomimetic Composites Recapitulate Key Molecular Mechanisms Linked to Glioblastoma Multiforme Pathophysiology

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Glioblastoma multiforme is the most devastating and incurable brain tumor. To better study this disease, a 3D model is developed using a hyaluronic acid‐based hydrogel combined with a multicellular approach. This model recapitulates in vivo brain stiffness, cell‐extracellular matrix and cell‐cell interactions and the tumor's hijacking function with the

Understanding the Role of Hydrogen and Oxygen in Electronic Phase Changes of Nickelates

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The reversible exchange of hydrogen and oxygen in solids is key to their electronic and electro‐chemical functionality. A combination of methods is employed to study the interaction of hydrogen with a prototypical quantum material in a non‐destructive and time‐dependent manner.
