Unraveling Nanoscale Magnetic Ordering in Fe3O4 Nanoparticle Assemblies via X-rays

open access: yesMagnetochemistry, 2018
Understanding the correlations between magnetic nanoparticles is important for nanotechnologies, such as high-density magnetic recording and biomedical applications, where functionalized magnetic particles are used as contrast agents and for drug ...

Magnetization Model for Particle Magnetic Interaction

open access: yesIEEE Translation Journal on Magnetics in Japan, 1993
A new medium magnetization model that takes account of the magnetic interaction of particles has been developed. It is based on the curling magnetization reversal model, and incorporates Atherton's function for the mean field interaction. It is very easy to build the mean field function into the algorithm of our medium model.

Magnetic Characterization of Bacterial Magnetic Particles.

open access: yesJournal of the Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy, 1996
Mössbauer measurement, chemical analysis (ratio of Fe2+ to total Fe content), analyses of the rotational hysteresis loss (Wr) and the magnetic viscosity coefficient (Sv) for bacterial magnetic particles covered with organic thin films (BMPs) were investigated and compared with the results for Fe3O4 fine particles prepared by a chemical coprecipitation ...

Magnetic particle swarm optimization [PDF]

open access: yes2011 IEEE Symposium on Swarm Intelligence, 2011
In this paper, we propose a new particle swarm approach based on the idea of repulsion by a magnetic field. The structure of the method is presented and, using a number of well-known benchmark functions in a 30-dimension search space, its performance is compared to that of well-established algorithms of similar inspiration.

Behavior of Electrodeposited Fe/FeSi Composite in a Static Parallel Magnetic Field

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2019
Fe-Si composite coatings were electrodeposited with Fe-30wt%Si or Si particles on low silicon steel strips under a static magnetic field, the direction of imposed magnetic field kept parallel to electric field.

Hyper-chaotic magnetisation dynamics of two interacting dipoles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The present work is a numerical study of the deterministic spin dynamics of two interacting anisotropic magnetic particles in the presence of a time-dependent external magnetic field using the Landau–Lifshitz equation.
