Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. A Particle Module for the PLUTO code: II - Hybrid Framework for Modeling Non-thermal emission from Relativistic Magnetized flows [PDF]
We describe a new hybrid framework to model non-thermal spectral signatures from highly energetic particles embedded in a large-scale classical or relativistic MHD flow.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Research on the effect of magnetic-electric coupling spraying dust reduction
In order to realize the effective prevention and control of coal dust, the magnetic-electric coupling spray dust reduction technology is proposed. First, by measuring the surface tension and contact angle of magnetized water under different magnetization

Field-induced interaction of a pseudoscalar particle with photon in a magnetized $e^-e^+$ plasma
The effective interaction of a pseudoscalar particle with photon in plasma with the presence of a constant uniform magnetic field is investigated. It is shown that under some physical conditions the effective coupling between pseudoscalar particle and ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Photonic Weyl degeneracies in magnetized plasma
Weyl particles are massless relativistic fermions recently observed in solid-state materials where they are characterized by Weyl points: topologically protected crossings in their band structure.
