Enhancement of magnetoelectric properties in a surface-mount magnetoelectric device
Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences, 2016The fabrication and properties of a novel double layered surface-mount magnetoelectric (ME) device are investigated and reported. This ME device is made up of two opposite polarized piezoelectric PZT slices bonded on the same side of a magnetostrictive material Metglas, forming a novel two PZT in-series device.

Structural, magnetic and magnetoelectric properties of the magnetoelectric composite material
Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, 2014(x) CoFe2O4 + (1 − x) Ba0.9Sr0.1TiO3 magnetoelectric (ME) composites with x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 were prepared by a conventional standard double sintering ceramic method. The magnetic and ME properties of composites consisting of cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) and barium strontium titanate (Ba0.9Sr0.1TiO3) were investigated.

Magnetoelectric Anisotropy in Diffusive Transport
Physical Review Letters, 2005In this Letter we prove the existence of a new general diffusive transport phenomenon in crossed electric and magnetic fields: magnetoelectric anisotropy. For the specific case of diffusive electrical transport, we present a relativistic model to quantify this effect and present experimental evidence for its existence.

Theoretical investigation of magnetoelectric effect in multilayer magnetoelectric composites
Composite Structures, 2015Abstract The aim of this paper is the modeling of an arbitrary magneto–elasto-electric multilayer constitute by magnetostrictive, piezoelectric and elastic substrate layers under free–free boundary conditions. A dynamic theory corresponding to the driving frequency of magnetoelectric (ME) response coupled flexural and extensional oscillations was ...

Interface Effects on the Magnetoelectric Properties of Magnetoelectric Multilayer Composites
Chinese Physics Letters, 2015The magnetoelectric (ME) effect is studied in the terfenol-D/Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 (PZT) multilayer composites prepared by silver epoxy. A theoretical model reveals that the ME voltage coefficient αE,31 is a constant when the total thickness of the multilayer composites is the same.

Annual Review of Materials Research, 2010
In a composite of magnetostrictive and piezoelectric phases, mechanical strain mediates magnetoelectric (ME) coupling between the magnetic and the electric subsystems. This review discusses recent advances in the physics of ME interactions in layered composites and nanostructures and potential device applications.

Study of magnetoelectric elements characteristics for magnetoelectric synchronous generator
Vestnik NovSUThe paper is devoted to the study of the characteristics of magnetoelectric elements for a magnetoelectric synchronous generator. Two types of ME elements with different geometric dimensions of 70 × 12 × 0.54 mm and 30 × 10 × 0.54 mm were considered in the framework of the study. The influence of the dimensions of the generator magnetoelectric elements
