Magnetohydrodynamic Pump Work Simulation

2018 International Russian Automation Conference (RusAutoCon), 2018
Magnetohydrodynamic pump (MHD-pump) is used for high-temperature metal fusions delivery. Herewith, it does not get in contact with a fusion itself, does not have mobile elements and is not vulnerable to consumption. But its low efficiency and absence of a dose delivery system restrict its usage in other spheres.

Lattice kinetic simulation of nonisothermal magnetohydrodynamics

Physical Review E, 2010
In this paper, a lattice kinetic algorithm is presented to simulate nonisothermal magnetohydrodynamics in the low-Mach number incompressible limit. The flow and thermal fields are described by two separate distribution functions through respective scalar kinetic equations and the magnetic field is governed by a vector distribution function through a ...

Magnetohydrodynamic simulation of capillary plasmas

The fourth international conference on dense z-pinches, 1997
The dynamics of capillary plasmas in regimes where soft x-rays amplification has been observed is investigated by means of a magnetohydrodynamic one-dimensional code, which takes into account dissipative processes, ablation, and ionization of the wall material.
