Evaluation of hydrogen peroxide effectiveness in fungal desinfection of Acipenser persicus eggs [PDF]
Fungal infection during incubation of A cipenser persicus eggs claims high mortalities in the hatcheries each year. Malachite Green has been used for many years to disinfect eggs during incubation, but recent studies have shown that the compound might be

One‐Step Glycoengineering of NK Cells With High‐Affinity Siglec Ligands for Cancer Immunotherapy
This study develops an engineered NmCSS enzyme with improved activity for bulky group modified sialic acids, enabling efficient synthesis of structurally diverse sialoside analogs in a single step. Glycan microarray screening identified Siglec high‐affinity ligands, which were incorporated onto natural killer (NK) cells via a one‐pot enzymatic system ...

Sustainable Synthesis of P‐Doped Carbon Nitride From Fertilizer Sources for Enhanced Photocatalysis
A new P‐doped carbon nitride was synthesized from the combination of thiourea and (NH4)2HPO4 by a straightforward and mild approach. The final material shows a fourfold higher specific surface area and excellent suppression of charge carrier recombination.

Extraction Methods for Recovering Malachite Green and Leucomalachite Green
Malachite green (MG), a triphenylmethane dye, is carcinogenic, mutagenic, teratogenic, a respiratory toxin, and causes chromosomal fractures. It is not permitted for use as an aquaculture veterinary drug in a number of countries. Sensitive extraction methods for MG and leucomalachite green (LMG), which have long residence times in fish tissues, were ...

ABSTRACT Amaranthus palmeri is one of the most troublesome invasive agricultural weeds worldwide, exhibiting super invasiveness and high resistance to conventional management strategies. Artificial microRNA‐mediated silencing technology, coupled with a nanoparticle‐mediated delivery system, represents an attractive approach for fertility control in A ...

SUMMARY Recent studies indicate that the Fe–S DNA helicase RTEL1 plays an important role in replicative DNA repair in plants. Since non‐homologous end joining (NHEJ) and DNA–protein cross‐link (DPC) repair also protect DNA replication in Arabidopsis, we set out to further define the interactions of RTEL1 and these pathways by analyzing double mutants ...
