Antimicrobial peptide (AMP)‐loaded nanocarriers provide a multifunctional strategy to combat drug‐resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis. By enhancing intracellular delivery, bypassing efflux pumps, and disrupting bacterial membranes, this platform restores phagolysosome fusion and macrophage function.

Identification of dermatophytes by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry [PDF]
In this study we evaluated the suitability of matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) for the identification of dermatophytes in diagnostic laboratories.

Identification of Photorhabdus symbionts by MALDI-TOF MS
Species of the bacterial genus Photorhabus live in a symbiotic relationship with Heterorhabditis entomopathogenic nematodes. Besides their use as biological control agents against agricultural pests, some

Peptomer Linkers Enable Kinetic Control over Co‐Delivery of Multiple Chemotherapeutics
A key challenge in combinatorial chemotherapeutic drug delivery is independent control over release kinetics, especially with drugs of similar size and structure. Here, peptoid substitutions to proteolytically degradable peptides enabled the design of fast and slow‐releasing drug linkers.

Identification Of Endophytic Bacteria From Curcuma Zedoaria Based On Protein Profile Using Maldi-tof Mass Spectrometry [PDF]
Valid identification of microorganisms is a vital information to establish culture collections. Currently, molecular approach based on 16S rDNA is widely used for bacterial identification. This approach is however, time consuming and expensive.

Structure analysis of biologically important prokaryotic glycopolymers [PDF]
Of the many post-translational modifications organisms can undertake, glycosylation is the most prevalent and the most diverse. The research in this thesis focuses on the structural characterisation of glycosylation in two classes of glycopolymer (

Investigating the Quantitative Nature of MALDI-TOF MS [PDF]
MALDI-TOF MS has been applied by several groups to relative quantitative measurements. At the same time, the non-quantitative character of this method has been widely reported. We conducted experiments to test the reliability of this technique for quantitation using the statistical method of inverse confidence limit calculation for the first time in ...

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

New insights for diagnosis of Pineapple Fusariosis by MALDI-TOF MS technique [PDF]
Fusarium is one of the most economically important fungal genus, since it includes many pathogenic species which cause a wide range of plant diseases. Morphological or molecular biology identification of Fusarium species is a limiting step in the fast ...
