Crystals as Rockets: Modulation of the Salient Temperature in Cocrystals by Solvent Mixture Composition [PDF]
Compositionally engineered mixed solvated cocrystals enable modulation of thermosalient actuation. Guest ratio controls thermosalient temperature and propulsion intensity, providing a tunable platform for designing crystalline systems that exhibit stimuli‐responsive mechanical motion.

Crystal structure and functional characterization of an Asp49 phospholipase A2 from the bushmaster (Lachesis muta) [PDF]
The crystal structure of an Asp49 phospholipase A2 from L. muta is reported, revealing a tetrameric assembly, catalytic conservation and a polarized electrostatic surface potentially linked to membrane targeting.Snake‐venom phospholipases A2 (PLA2s) are small, structurally conserved enzymes that contribute significantly to the pathophysiology of ...

Double Salts and Racemate in Mefloquine–Ibuprofen and Mefloquine–Ketoprofen Systems. A Structural and Thermochemical Analysis [PDF]
(S)‐ibuprofen or ketoprofen were used to resolve mefloquine, forming double salts structurally similar to the racemic forms. ABSTRACT The formation of salts remains a highly sought‐after yet unpredictable strategy for resolving chiral drugs. Using a drug–drug approach, we have investigated the crystallization behavior of Mefloquine (Mf), a racemic ...
