On the Maneuvering of Vehicles
SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 1988Equations are derived to govern the motion of vehicles which move on rolling wheels. A relation between the centers of curvature of the trajectories of the wheels and the center of rotation of the vehicle is established. From this relation the kernel kinematic laws of motion are derived.

Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, 1985
A modification of standard microvascular anastomosis procedure is presented, which helps in training and improves clinical technique by conservation of motion. The speed of anastomosis is at least as rapid as the posterior wall technique on which it is based, and it has the advantage of having fewer unused penetrations of the vessel wall and better ...

Cyber Maneuvers and Maneuver Keys
2014 IEEE Military Communications Conference, 2014This paper presents an overview of cyber maneuvers and their roles in cyber security. As the cyber war escalates, a strategy that preemptively limits and curtails attacks is required. Such a proactive strategy is called a cyber maneuver and is a refinement of the concept of a moving-target defense, which includes both reactive and proactive network ...

Expected Maneuver and Maneuver Covariance Models
Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets, 2008W HEN performing a spacecraft maneuver, the actual force imparted by the propulsion subsystem is inevitably different from the force called for by the guidance and navigation software. Magnitude errors can be introduced by variability in thruster efficiency and the resolution of the timing in starting and stopping the thruster.
