Response of Ag Thick Film Microstripline due to Superstrate Strontium Substituted Bismuth Manganites [PDF]

open access: yesЖурнал нано- та електронної фізики, 2014
The purpose of this paper is to describe the use of strontium-substituted bismuth manganites bulk ceramic superstrate on Ag thick film microstripline, to modify its response and measure complex permittivity as a function of strontium.

Zero Temperature Insulator-Metal Transition in Doped Manganites [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We study the transition at T=0 from a ferromagnetic insulating to a ferromagnetic metallic phase in manganites as a function of hole doping using an effective low-energy model Hamiltonian proposed by us recently. The model incorporates the quantum nature

Impact of Alkali Ions Codoping on Magnetic Properties of La0.9A0.1Mn0.9Co0.1O3 (A: Li, K, Na) Powders and Ceramics

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
The aim of the work was to check how the introduction of alkali and cobalt ions into a manganese structure can affect the structural disorder and, in consequence, lead to the changes (improvements) of magnetic properties.

Surface phase separation in nanosized charge-ordered manganites

open access: yes, 2007
Recent experiments showed that the robust charge-ordering in manganites can be weakened by reducing the grain size down to nanoscale. Weak ferromagnetism was evidenced in both nanoparticles and nanowires of charge-ordered manganites.

The Influence of Pressure on the Formation of FM/AF Configurations in LSMO Films: A Monte Carlo Approach

open access: yesComputation, 2020
In this work, Monte Carlo simulations of magnetic properties of thin films, including the influence of an external pressure, are presented. These simulations were developed using a Hamiltonian composed by terms that represent the exchange interaction ...

Charge Ordering in Half-Doped Manganites: Weak Charge Disproportion and Leading Mechanisms

open access: yes, 2010
The apparent contradiction between the recently observed weak charge disproportion and the traditional Mn$^{3+}$/Mn$^{4+}$ picture of the charge-orbital orders in half-doped manganites is resolved by a novel Wannier states analysis of the LDA$+U ...

Propriedades estruturais e microestruturais de manganitas dopadas com cobre Structural and microstructural properties of Cu-doped manganites

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2007
We report a structural study on polycrystalline La0.86Sr0.14Mn1-y Cu yO3+delta samples (y = 0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20) using refinement of powder X-ray diffraction data and analysis of scanning electron microscopy images.

The charge ordered state in half-doped Bi-based manganites studied by $^{17}$O and $^{209}$Bi NMR

open access: yes, 2005
We present a $^{209}$Bi and $^{17}$O NMR study of the Mn electron spin correlations developed in the charge ordered state of Bi$_{0.5}$Sr$_{0.5}$MnO$_{3}$ and Bi$_{0.5}$Ca$_{0.5}$MnO$_{3}$.

Stepwise Reduction of Ruthenium and Growth of Magnetic Structure During Hydrothermal Crystallisation of SrRu2O6 from KRuO4

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 2, 9 January 2026.
In situ neutron powder diffraction data collected while heating the Ru(VII) reagent KRuO4 in the presence of aqueous Sr2+ reveal the crystallisation of a Ru(VI) oxyhydroxide before the expected Ru(V) oxide; at the same time evolution of antiferromagnetism in the final SrRu2O6 product follows the growth of its crystal structure.
