Learning from a long-term crop rotation experiment [PDF]
A crop rotation experiment was established in 1996/97 at three locations representing differ-ent soil types and climates. Three factors were tested: i) crop rotation with different propor-tions of N2-fixing crops, ii) with and without a catch crop, and ...

Abstract Aboriginal culture is both a strength and a protective factor for Aboriginal children; yet, we continue to see disparities in education, health and well‐being outcomes. To improve outcomes for Aboriginal children and families, local cultural ways of knowing, being and doing need to be incorporated into policy and practice.

Productivity of pre-modern agriculture in the Cucuteni-Trypillia area [PDF]
(Abridged) We present palaeoeconomy reconstructions for pre-modern agriculture, with the Cucuteni-Trypillia Cultural unity (5,400-2,700 BC, modern Ukraine, Moldova and Romania) as example. The starting point of our analysis is the palaeodiet structure suggested by archaeological data, stable isotope analyses of human remains, and palynology.

Photochemical Conversion of Indazoles into Benzimidazoles
Fragment‐based drug discovery relies on preparing diverse libraries of advanced building blocks, often incorporating heteroaromatic motifs. Altering the core of heteroaromatics to maximise library diversity typically requires de novo synthesis of each system. This can be often challenging when specific substitution patterns are needed.

Spring barley yield and nitrogen recovery after application of peat manure and pig slurry [PDF]
The effectiveness of peat manure, manufactured of pig slurry and moderately humified Sphagnum peat (slurry:peat ca. 1:1.5 v/v), as nitrogen (N) source for spring barley was investigated in a four.year field experiment on a clay loam soil in south-western

Photocatalytic Generation of a Ground‐State Electron Donor through Water Activation
Electron donors that can be excited to higher energy states through light absorption can achieve oxidation potentials as low as ‐3.0 V (vs. SCE). However, ground‐state organic electron transfer reagents operating at such potentials remain underdeveloped, often necessitating multi‐step syntheses and elevated reaction temperatures for activation.
