Clock Synchronization for Many-Core Processors [PDF]
In this dissertation we propose to develop, implement, and validate a software based clock synchronization algorithm in a many-core processor architecture, specifically the Kalray MPPA-256 architecture.

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Power-Aware Core Management Scheme for Heterogeneous Many-Core Architecture [PDF]
The main challenge in designing the future heterogeneous many-core architecture on the same chip is to provide a solution that has low power consumption, in addition to trade off a small decrease in performance and throughput.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

A Cross-Platform SpMV Framework on Many-Core Architectures [PDF]
Sparse Matrix-Vector multiplication (SpMV) is a key operation in engineering and scientific computing. Although the previous work has shown impressive progress in optimizing SpMV on many-core architectures, load imbalance and high memory bandwidth remain the critical performance bottlenecks.

Validity of a Wearable Digital Insole for Assessing Gait ON and OFF in Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Gait impairment is a distinctive symptom of Parkinson's disease that negatively impact mobility. We assessed the validity of wearable digital insoles against a validated reference gait analysis system for measuring select gait characteristics in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods A comparative analysis between digital insoles
