Point-wise Map Recovery and Refinement from Functional Correspondence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Since their introduction in the shape analysis community, functional maps have met with considerable success due to their ability to compactly represent dense correspondences between deformable shapes, with applications ranging from shape matching and ...

Map Matching with Simplicity Constraints [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We study a map matching problem, the task of finding in an embedded graph a path that has low distance to a given curve in R^2. The Fr\'echet distance is a common measure for this problem.

Efficient 2D-3D Matching for Multi-Camera Visual Localization

open access: yes, 2019
Visual localization, i.e., determining the position and orientation of a vehicle with respect to a map, is a key problem in autonomous driving. We present a multicamera visual inertial localization algorithm for large scale environments.

Fuzzy Cognitive Maps for stereovision matching [PDF]

open access: yesPattern Recognition, 2006
This paper outlines a method for solving the stereovision matching problem using edge segments as the primitives. In stereovision matching the following constraints are commonly used: epipolar, similarity, smoothness, ordering and uniqueness. We propose a new matching strategy under a fuzzy context in which such constraints are mapped.

Cognitive Functioning in Vorinostat‐Treated Pediatric and Young Adult Patients Over the First 180 Days After Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Cognitive and psychological difficulties could negatively interfere with treatment adherence and quality of life before and after hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). Methods to mitigate these changes may have positive effects on treatment success.

Map-matching Algorithm for Large Databases [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Navigation, 2015
This article proposes a batch-mode algorithm to handle the large databases generated from experimentations using probe vehicles. This algorithm can locate raw Global Positioning System (GPS) positions on a map, but can also be used to correct map-matching errors introduced by real time map-matching algorithms.

Evaluation of the Utility of Baseline Echocardiogram in Patients With Standard Risk Precursor B‐Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
Abstract Background A routine baseline echocardiogram is often obtained prior to anthracycline administration in children with cancer. The utility of baseline echocardiogram is unclear in patients with standard risk B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (SR B‐ALL) as their anthracycline cumulative dose is low.

Novel Genetic Risk Factor Identified for L‐Asparaginase‐Induced Pancreatitis in Pediatric Patients With Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background L‐asparaginase is a critical component in treatment protocols for pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Acute pancreatitis reactions can necessitate delays and, in some cases, discontinuation of L‐asparaginase, which compromises outcomes.

Improved stereo matching algorithm based on multi-scale fusion

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao, 2021
Aiming at the low matching accuracy of local stereo matching algorithm in weak texture or discontinuous disparity areas, a stereo matching algorithm combining multi-scale fusion of convolutional neural network (CNN) and feature pyramid structure (FPN) is
