ABSTRACT As part of the European Cooperative Study Group for Paediatric Rare Tumours initiative, we developed standard clinical practice guidelines for ovarian sex cord stromal tumors, based on comprehensive national and international cohort analyses, literature review, and a final expert consensus conference.

MAP-MATCHING IN COMPLEX URBAN ROAD NETWORKS [PDF]
Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) such as GPS and digital road maps can be used for land vehicle navigation systems. However, GPS requires a level of augmentation with other navigation sensors and systems such as Dead Reckoning (DR) devices, in ...

Map Matching-Based Driving Lane Recognition for Low-Cost Precise Vehicle Positioning on Highways
This paper proposes a map matching-based driving lane recognition system for low-cost precise vehicle positioning on highways. The proposed method finds the position where the road boundaries detected by a LIDAR sensor are best matched with the road ...

Natural Killer Cells in Paediatric Soft Tissue Sarcomas: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Paediatric soft tissue sarcomas (pSTS) are a rare and heterogeneous group of malignant tumours arising in tissues of mesenchymal origin. The role of natural killer (NK) cells in pSTS remains poorly understood, with evidence fragmented across small preclinical studies and early‐phase clinical trials.

A Novel Approach for Reducing Train Localization Errors by Inertial Measurements
The effectiveness of current railway signaling systems heavily depends on the accuracy in the localization of trains on the track, which is currently enforced using static markers mounted along the line, called balises.

ABSTRACT Background Childhood aplastic anemia (AA) is a rare disease, and both the disease itself and its treatment cause significant morbidity. We aimed to determine the contemporary incidence of childhood AA in Finland, to compare the clinical characteristics of AA against inherited bone marrow failure syndromes (IBMFS) and refractory cytopenia of ...

Enhancing Map Matching Accuracy Using Backtracking Technique
Map matching integrates positioning data with road network information to accurately identify a vehicle exact location on a specific road. Modern location-based services heavily rely on accurate map matching techniques to match observed trajectories with

Shape Matching for Robot Mapping [PDF]
We present a novel geometric model for robot mapping based on shape. Shape similarity measure and matching techniques originating from computer vision are specially redesigned for matching range scans. The fundamental geometric representation is a structural one, polygonal lines are ordered according to the cyclic order of visibility.

Fuzzy Cognitive Maps for stereovision matching [PDF]
This paper outlines a method for solving the stereovision matching problem using edge segments as the primitives. In stereovision matching the following constraints are commonly used: epipolar, similarity, smoothness, ordering and uniqueness. We propose a new matching strategy under a fuzzy context in which such constraints are mapped.
