ESTUDIO ARQUEOLÓGICO Y URBANÍSTICO DE LA “CASA DE LA REINA”, UNA VIVIENDA ECLÉCTICA (1859) DEL BARRIO MARÍTIMO DE EL CABAÑAL DE VALENCIA - ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND TOWN-PLNNING STUDY OF THE "CASA DE LA REINA", AN ECLECTIC HOUSE (1859) OF THE MARITIME DISTRICT OF EL CABAÑAL DE VALENCIA

open access: yes, 2017

Fabrication‐Driven Oxidation Pathways in Y/Hf‐Modified High‐Entropy Alloys: From Elemental Segregation to Oxide Homogeneity

open access: yesRare Metals, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study elucidates the oxidation mechanisms governing Y/Hf‐doped AlCoCrFeNiTi high‐entropy alloys (HEAs) and reveals the pivotal role of fabrication processes in dictating high‐temperature oxidation behavior. We demonstrate that casting and spark plasma sintering (SPS) promote Y/Hf segregation, resulting in heterogeneous oxide formation and

Combining Laser‐Induced Edition to Collision‐Induced Sequencing of Digital Oligomers in a Single Gas‐Phase Experiment

open access: yesRapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Rationale To increase the confidentiality level of molecular tags, binary information can be hidden in sequence‐defined oligomers using isobaric monomers including a photo‐sensitive one, which mass can be modified upon light irradiation. Reading such secured data requires light edition prior to MS/MS sequencing, which was investigated here in ...

Climate Change and Energy Security Risk: Do Green Patents, Institutional Quality, and Human Capital Make a Difference?

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Climate change poses a significant threat to global energy security, yet the mechanisms through which this relationship unfolds—and the factors that buffer their adverse impacts—remain underexplored. This study examines the link between climate change, proxied by CO2 emissions, and energy security risk (ESR), with a particular focus on the ...

Overcoming barriers? The mixed results of social innovation accelerator programs for women entrepreneurs

open access: yesStrategic Management Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Research Summary Entrepreneurship accelerators are increasingly promoted as structural interventions to close gender gaps, yet studies have not established a differential impact of participation for women. This prior evidence—drawn from high‐tech, male‐dominated settings—may overlook how outcomes differ in more feminized domains such as social

Detection of mare parturition through balanced multi-scale feature fusion based on improved Libra RCNN.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
Once a mare experiences parturition abnormalities, the outcome between a live foal and a stillborn can change rapidly. Automated detection of mare parturition and timely human intervention is crucial to reducing risks during mare and foal parturition ...

Fermented Mare Milk and Its Microorganisms for Human Consumption and Health

open access: yesFoods
Mare milk is consumed by approximatively 30 million people in the world. In countries in Asia and East Europe, mare milk is mainly consumed as source of fermented products, called koumiss, airag or chigee, alcoholic beverages obtained by means of a ...

Water, Water Somewhere: The Value of Water in a Drought-Prone Farming Region [PDF]

open access: yes
Water is critical for agriculture, yet surprisingly few studies internationally have analysed the value placed on water in specific farming contexts. We do so using a rich longitudinal dataset for the Mackenzie District (Canterbury, New Zealand) over ...

Influence of Temperature on the Reliability of Graphene‐Based Ozone Sensors

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
The reliability and stability of inkjet‐printed graphene flake sensors are evaluated. Stress assessments take place in ozone‐rich environments and at elevated temperatures, with the observation of a change in resistance. Surface‐sensitive techniques serve to investigate the failure and degradation mechanisms of printed graphene.
