Ginseng contains various health-beneficial bioactive compounds, such as ginsenosides and polysaccharides. Despite ginseng marc is produced after the extraction process and usually discarded as wastes, it still contains considerable amounts of potential bioactive compounds, including saponins and polysaccharides. Previously, we reported that glucan type

Polyphenols contained in FGM from Negroamaro (N) and Koshu (K) Vitis vinifera have been shown to exhibit several immunomodulating activities. For instance, mice affected by experimental colitis when administered with K-FGM showed an attenuation of the inflammatory process.

To investigate the antiallergic effects of fermented grape marc from Negroamaro (N-FGM), we examined antigen (Ag)-induced degranulation of rat basophilic leukemia (RBL-2H3) cells. Among supernatants of N-FGM suspensions in water, ethanol, and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), supernatants of DMSO-suspended N-FGM but not of nonfermented Negroamaro grape marc ...

Effect of co-channel interference in MARC system Ortak Kanal Girişiminin MARC Sistemine Etkisi
2017In this study, the error performance analysis of decode and forward (DF) based multiple access relay channel (MARC) system model is investigated for binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulation when there is co-channel interference effects at relay node and maximum likelihood (ML) approach is used at destination node.

A method based on pressurized solvent extraction (PSE) to determine main polyphenolic compounds in the grape marc obtained as a byproduct of the white winemaking process has been developed. As response variables in the optimisation process include main individual polyphenols, as well as spectrophotometric indexes.

[Effects of two microbial agents on high temperature composting of passion fruit marc].
Ying yong sheng tai xue bao = The journal of applied ecology, 2008This paper studied the effects of microbial agents Faby (MF) and Rongfeng (MR) on the dynamic changes of temperature, C/N ratio, NH(4)+ -N and NO(3)- -N contents and compost quality in the composting process of passion fruit marc. The results showed that both MF and MR could accelerate the composting process. Compared with the control, these two agents
